Top 5 Air Travel Apps on Android in Madagascar for Q1 2022

Throughout the first quarter of 2022, the performance of the top five air travel apps on the Android platform in Madagascar showed varied trends in downloads, revenue, and active user metrics, according to Sensor Tower data.

Flightradar24 Flight Tracker experienced notable growth across all metrics. Weekly revenue increased from $5 in early January to a peak of $10 by mid-March, before slightly tapering off to $7 by the end of the quarter. Downloads saw a significant rise, starting from 11 in late December 2021 and reaching a high of 130 in the last week of February. Active users followed a similar upward trajectory, growing from 56 in late December to 161 by the end of February, although there was a slight decline to 99 by the end of March.

LATAM Airlines had steady but modest download numbers. Weekly downloads ranged from 7 to 20, peaking in mid-February. Active users showed a slight decline from 16 in mid-February to 10 by mid-March.

Ryanair also featured consistent download activity, starting with 3 downloads per week at the beginning of January and reaching up to 23 in mid-February. Active users increased from 13 in early February to 39 by the end of March.

The IndiGo Flight Booking App saw its weekly downloads rise from 1 at the start of the year to a peak of 29 by the end of March. Active users showed a significant increase from 10 in late February to 63 by the end of the quarter.

American Airlines had minimal download activity, with weekly downloads peaking at 11 in mid-February. The app did not show any significant active user data for the quarter.
